   Secure was originally founded, in 1986, as a turnkey manufacturer for the National Security Agency. Since then we have grown exponentially and now offer our services to many other government and private agencies. All manufacturing is undertaken in our 37,000 square foot facility located in Santa Ana, California. This state-of-the-art facility houses our corporate offices, large test and production areas together with warehousing, shipping areas, and an engineering laboratory.

   Quite unique to Secure is our flexibility, upon request, in supplementing materials inventory with customer supplied components. Some customers prefer to use their specialized components while others prefer a turnkey solution. Either way, we are able to accommodate their requirements. To ensure all our products perform reliably under extreme field conditions, every product is manufactured using detailed planning and quality assurance methods. Augmenting our facilities is a select staff trained in the Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies (IPC – A – 610D) and the Requirements and Acceptance for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies (IPC – WHMA – A – 620).

   Our deep commitment to durability and incomparable performance make Secure products ideal for any extreme real-world application. That is why the U.S. Air Force chose our Mission Planning System to use in their F-15 and F-16 fighters, F-117 stealth fighters, and B-52 and B-1 bombers. The U.S. Navy has also implemented Secure products in their Los Angeles class submarines. Secure products are battle-proven and have an enviable record of reliability whether they are used for shipboard, airborne, or ground mobile applications.    Secure utilizes a management system that provides the effective, forward-looking control needed to accomplish program goals. Our management system is based on the following key elements:

Organization

•   Establishment of the program management office and project team.
•   Assignment of organizational responsibility for accomplishing program tasks.
•   Planning
•   Establishment of a program schedule plan using network techniques.
•   Variance Analysis and Corrective Action
•   Internal program review meetings where functional managers report on technical and schedule performance.
•   Submitting periodic customer status reports
•   Analysis of significant schedule variances to include: cause of the variance,       impact to the program plan from problems identified, and corrective action       taken or planned.

  We operate as a matrix organization.  Weekly management meetings are held to reviews status reports, material procurements, quality trends and delivery forecasts. These meetings are used to ensure that all our products meet quality standards and are on schedule.

Quality Assurance

  Secure is an ISO 9001:2000 certified company.  All products are built and tested according to controlled documentation.  Acceptance testing, environmental stress screening, and qualification testing are performed to customer approved procedures. One hundred percent of all hardware is subjected to ESS and an approved ATP and all our workmanship is per IPC-610D standards.

Configuration Management

  All items delivered are controlled so as to provide identification as to the revision level to which the product was built.  In addition to controlling the revision of parts lists and drawings, we control the revision of the Manufacturing Instructions.

The Secure configuration management system is compliant with Mil-Std-973.
